Evidence-based, culturally responsive care grounded in a structural lens.
You're navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, or burnout
Your stress isn't just personal—it's tied to workplace harm, racism, or class barriers
You're tired of being told to "practice self-care" when systems are the problem
You're a high-responsibility person (leader, parent, caregiver) carrying a lot
You need therapy that doesn't bypass the reality of power and structural harm
You want evidence-based treatment that respects your lived experience
You're considering or currently in ketamine treatment and need integration support
You prefer online therapy for flexibility and privacy
You're looking for a therapist who understands that healing happens in context
Other ways to work together:
We combine evidence-based approaches, including EMDR, somatic work, and integration-focused protocols, with an understanding of how systems shape your nervous system. Racism, class, migration, disability, and organizational power aren't footnotes to your stress; they're central to it.
Healing doesn't happen in a vacuum. Our work builds your internal capacity while helping you navigate the external systems that create stress, trauma, and exhaustion.
Process trauma without being told to "just be more resilient."
Build capacity to navigate oppressive systems and address the harm
Develop tools for sustainable living, not just survival
Integrate insights from therapy (and ketamine, if applicable) into lasting change
Make decisions aligned with your values, not just "shoulds"
Examine how technology affects your stress, sleep, and connection
We draw from EMDR, somatic experiencing, psychodynamic, and attachment-based approaches, trauma-informed care, and ketamine-assisted psychotherapy support.
We combine evidence-based clinical practices (EMDR, somatic experiencing, integration-focused protocols) with a structural lens that understands how racism, class, migration, disability, and organizational power shape your nervous system.
Your healing doesn't happen in a vacuum. Therapy with me means building internal capacity while also navigating the external systems that create stress, trauma, and burnout.
PAAPOY was founded on a simple belief: healing doesn't happen in isolation. Your anxiety, trauma, and chronic stress aren't just "in your head"; they are shaped by real-life conditions in your environment, your workplace, and the systems you move through.
With more than 10 years of clinical experience, I help people who carry a lot, including high-responsibility professionals, caregivers, and individuals navigating identity-based harm and structural barriers, find more room to breathe, feel, choose, and move.
Our work weaves evidence-based trauma therapies with a structural lens. Your nervous system's responses are rational reactions to real pressures, not personal defects. This work honors both your internal experience and the external conditions that shape it.
You're not broken. The world is complicated. Let's work with that reality, not pretend it away.

(Non-Therapy)
Life strategy is not therapy. If you need mental health treatment, therapy is the appropriate service.
A: Yes, we are in-network with several major insurers, including Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, Cigna, and UnitedHealthcare. However, insurance networks can change. Please verify your specific coverage and copay using this tool: Learn more →
A: Therapy is clinical mental health treatment for anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health conditions. It's covered by insurance (if you're in-network) and follows clinical protocols. Life Strategy & Leadership Development is non-clinical consulting for high-responsibility individuals navigating complexity, power dynamics, and sustainable living. It's not covered by insurance and focuses on strategic planning, decision-making, and systems navigation rather than mental health treatment.
A: We meet via secure, HIPAA-compliant video sessions. You can join from anywhere in New York State that feels private and comfortable. Sessions are 50 minutes, and we work together just as we would in person. We spend time building rapport, processing experiences, and using evidence-based techniques like EMDR or somatic work. Many clients find online therapy more accessible and flexible than in-person sessions.
A: That's completely normal. Book a free consultation and we'll talk about what you're experiencing, what you're hoping for, and whether therapy (or life strategy) is a good fit. There's no pressure, and the consultation itself can help clarify what you need. You can also sign up for the monthly email to get a sense of my approach before booking.
